Welcome bij onze 9de Kroningsnieuwsbrief. Donderdag 5 mei is onze 2de lezing in het kader van het Kroningsthema #zoekverbin-ding. We hebben in laatste instantie voor een nieuwe spreker, Karel Malfliet, moeten zorgen omdat de eerste spreker dubbel boekte. De meimaand is bij uitstek Mariamaand. In Tongeren staat de Oorzaak Onzer Blijdschap dan traditioneel in een zee van bloemen. We tonen jullie mooie foto's gemaakt op 1 mei. Verder hebben we tal van wist je datjes, vertellen we je over de Kroningsvlag, het pelgrimeren én je kan hier ook Kroningsma-gazine 2 lezen. We wensen je veel leesplezier.

Because Steven Vromman double-booked, which we only very recently had to find out for ourselves, we had to look for another speaker to explain the theme #search connection with nature. Karel Malfliet was immediately willing to help us with this.
Karel Malfliet is an agricultural and tropical agriculture industrial engineer. He started his career in youth work, as a staff worker for cadre reform at KLJ. Afterwards he worked for Broederlijk Delen and Welzijns-zorg in Oost-Vlaanderen and as national campaign manager of Broederlijk Delen. Today he is active at Ecokerk.

Tongeren staat niet alleen bekend als 'oudste of eerste stad van België' maar ook als eerste Maria-oord ten Noorden van de Alpen. Reeds eeuwen komen pelgrims naar Tongeren om Maria te eren. De komende 2 weken wordt het nieuwe Kroningsmagazine door meer dan 140 vrijwil-ligers bedeeld in Groot-Tongeren. In dit tweede magazine besteden we aandacht aan de rekrutering van deelnemers voor de processie en het avondspel. We infomeren je ook over de werken aan de basiliektoren. We belichten het Kroningsthema #zoekverbinding én we tonen je de nieuwe Kroningsvlag. Verder bevat dit magazine ook heel wat wist je datjes over de Kroningsgroepen en blikken we ook terug op de Kroningsfeesten van nu 99, 55 en 20 jaar geleden. En dan zijn er nog
